I would just like to add a little story to these pictures: I was a single mother to my first child (now adopted by my husband), and despite the heartache, shame, and trouble I felt at the time, with plenty of support, I finished a university degree, married my husband, and went on to have four more children. We also welcomed a foster child (the friend of one of our children), who has lived with us since 2015. This has been an extra blessing in our lives. The two photos are of the six children, on the occasion of our foster daughter’s graduation from college (pre-university here in Québec).
