Celebrate Women’s History Month (and 50 years)!

As we begin our celebration of Women’s History Month and also prepare to mark Feminists for Life of America’s 50th Birthday, we have a third reason our spirits are lifted this month:

Last night, the so-called “Women’s Health Protection Act” (aka the Abortion on Demand Until Birth Act), went down in defeat.

Thank you to all Feminists for Life who reached out to your senators to tell them to vote NO on what would have been the most catastrophically anti-life legislation in our country’s history!

To mark this Women’s History Month, we are expanding our hugely popular First Wave Feminist History Course & Quiz series, with a new chapter about the influence of American Indians on the suffragists — and another new chapter about the intersection of the suffrage and temperance movements. Be sure to follow our social media over the next weeks to test yourself and others.

Finally, March is as good a time as ever to get back to basics by listening to FFL President Serrin M. Foster’s landmark speech, “The Feminist Case Against Abortion,” which has been recognized as one of the “great speeches in history” in an anthology called Women’s Rights. You can view Part 1 of her acclaimed speech on our YouTube page.

March forth!

Because women — and girls — deserve better,
