Motherhood Is Empowerment

Leishaan Crane

I am pro-life to my core. I was a single mother told to abort my unborn baby girl when I was 26. I adamantly refused, knowing that I was accountable for my actions and would do what it takes to give her the best life that I could. Even though it has been a tough road and I had to make many sacrifices and put my dreams on hold for a while, my daughter is the best gift God has given me. I am truly grateful because I wouldn’t be where I am today without her. She empowers me to be the best mom and person that I can be and to help others. My heart breaks for the destruction of our country and the grotesque acts of abortion and the FDA purchasing the parts of these babies for sickening research. I pray that this madness will come to a quick end. Until then, I will keep fighting for the unborn babies.

I am currently in nursing school (after waiting for 14 years), and so I’m juggling a few things here and there. It is not impossible to be a single mother. It just comes with challenges, just like anything else worth having.

My precious daughter knows that her paternal grandmother wanted her aborted, and I want her to know that she is a treasure and always will be. Thank you so much for all that you do!
