Today is the First Forever Priceless™ Friday.
As you likely know, Feminists for Life of America has been increasingly concerned about our teens and preteens, as well as young women who are too often vulnerable to all manner of violence, sometimes leading to abortion.
Each of us remembers the challenges that we faced during our exciting but often perilous youth. Our parents did whatever possible to protect us.
And now it is our time to pass it forward, parent or not.
So it is with great fanfare that we announce Forever Priceless™ Fridays. We open with two introductory (and short!) videos. The first features someone well known to most of you: a survivor of rape who has worked for racial justice, served victims of domestic violence and currently serves those in poverty, a frequent contributor to The American Feminist and WomenDeserveBetter.com, speaker, and mother Joyce McCauley-Benner.
During the next six Fridays, Joyce will help kick off the school year by helping parents know what their daughters are up against, and what you can do to protect your daughters from predators.
On the same Fridays, Kara Sorenson, FFL’s Chair of the Board, will speak directly to teens and equip them with what they need to know to do their best to avoid becoming prey. Kara is SO telegenic and the big sister that all parents would wish for their teens.
During the rest of the week, the messages by Kara will be reinforced through beautifully designed memes.
We invite you to see the opening videos for this important effort now:

And you and your daughters can also catch Kara on our YouTube page or on our NEW Girls Deserve Better® Instagram page, reaching teens on social media where they “live.”
And we encourage you to share this effort with other parents, teachers including homeschoolers or religious educators, coaches and troop leaders, and more.
