Yes, there are better choices…

As we neared the close of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, NOW tweeted a decidedly anti-woman message. After rightfully pointing out the high rate of maternal mortality among women who are being abused, it read #AbortionBanKillsWomen. 

So NOW isn’t proposing she gets help and escapes the relationship. No. According to NOW, pregnant women should just get rid of the baby and please the abuser. Wow. That kind of capitulation is what got us Roe in the first place! So un-feminist!

Abortion advocates and profiteers talk about her having “it” or not. We prefer nonviolent options when talking about human beings.

This Adoption Awareness Month we want to let everyone know about nonviolent choices in the event that they feel unable to raise children.

Open, closed, and semi-open adoptions are available. And fostering a child can be an affordable way to adopt
