First Annual Legacy Award Winner… (drum roll please!)

The Board of Feminists for Life of America congratulates FFL President Serrin M. Foster in advance of receiving the Pro-Life Women’s Conference First Annual Legacy Award in recognition of her persistence and determination to empower women and impact future generations. The PLWC was founded by Abby Johnson, who was featured along with her outreach to abortion workers, And Then There Were None, in our powerful issue ofThe American Feminist, “MANIPULATION.”

Serrin has led FFL for the last 25 years. During that time, she has led numerous pro-woman legislative efforts, created and shared our College Outreach Program, and served as Editor-in-Chief of The American Feminist and online resource WomenDeserveBetter.com. The creator of the Women Deserve Better campaign is perhaps best known for her landmark speech, “The Feminist Case Against Abortion,” which has been recognized as one of the “great speeches in history” in the anthology Women’s Rights.

As a former intern and student leader who helped to bring resources and support to my alma mater, Clarion University, I have personally benefited from Serrin’s legacy. The Board and staff are focused on passing it forward to the next generation of Feminists for Life. Congratulations, Serrin!

Because women deserve better,
