Prepare to be outraged: Hear Roe argument

Originally published December 13, 2011

December 13, 1971, is one of the most tragic days in recorded history for women and children.

If you have never read or heard Sarah Weddington’s argument before the U.S. Supreme Court that abortion should be legal, prepare to be stunned, angry, sad… and determined to right one of the biggest injustices in history against women.

Our latest video features portions of Weddington’s actual argument to the Supreme Court — and FFL’s unique demand for woman-centered, holistic solutions.

We can’t go back and undo the damage done to women, men, and children over the past 40 years by arguments Sarah Weddington made, but we can — we must — right the injustice now, and for future generations.

By listening to the needs of women, we know the task at hand.

As we remember this tragic day in history by listening to those fateful arguments that betrayed women, please do your part to support Feminists for Life’s better way for women and children.

Because women deserve better,
