Senators Elizabeth Dole, R-North Carolina, and Ben Nelson, D-Nebraska, introduced the Elizabeth Cady Stanton Pregnant and Parenting Student Services Act of 2007 in the Senate to help pregnant and parenting college students continue their education. A House version of the bill was introduced by U.S. Representatives Marcy Kaptur and Sue Myrick to celebrate Susan B. Anthony’s Birthday.
