FFL Events Across the U.S. You are invited…

As we kick off Respect Life Month in October, I’ll be moderating the 18th annual Pregnancy Resource ForumSM at Georgetown University! And later in the month, I will address Notre Dame University students visiting Washington – led by one of our summer interns!

Meanwhile, our Vice President Sally Winn will speak at Yale University. This is important because the hideous gaffes about rape are not just being made by legislators. Yale now calls rape “nonconsensual sex,” thus minimizing the violence. FFL is uniquely equipped to take on the issue of rape and abortion.

Sally will also be speaking at Carroll College in Montana and St. Louis University. FFL Editor Jewels Green and I will each address 1,500 students and young adults coming from the Archdiocese of St. Louis traveling to Washington DC as we commemorate the 41st anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

You could be the one who helps them get our speakers to their campus. Women who have chosen victory over violence, like our speaker Joyce McCauley-Benner, and our other great speakers who have personally experienced pregnancy while in college, like Chaunie Brusie, or birthmother Jessica O’Connor-Petts.

In my case, my dad carried me in his arms during his graduation from University of Maryland while my mom was carrying my younger sister in her womb. Later, my mom became an early Birthright volunteer. She gave me information that was the basis for my first speech in college – which wasagainst abortion. It caused such an uproar that abortion was no longer allowed to be a topic of speeches in the Speech Department. Obviously, that didn’t stop me. I’m still energized to speak against abortion on campus – including my father’s alma mater!

We already have lots of requests for FFL kits, speakers, and Forum moderators including California, MarylandLouisiana,Maryland, and more! But the reality is we can’t travel or even send materials for free.

We need your support right now to get kits to campus groups to grow their organizations and reach those at high risk of abortion right now – and the future leaders of tomorrow.

  • Only FFL can equip them with the original research first uncovered by FFL after Alice Paul, the author of the original Equal Rights Amendment, told FFL’s co-founder Pat Goltz that the early American feminists were pro-life, too.
  • Only FFL is uniquely qualified to take on abortion and rape.
  • Only FFL can equip these students “Pro-Woman Answers to Pro-Choice Questions.”
  • FFL’s provocative ads challenge the status quo and spark discussion on campus.
  • Our brand-new website provides researchers and activists with the information they need right now.
  • FFL’s original Pregnancy Resource SurveySM and Pregnancy Resource ForumSMand other Tools for Schools helps students and administrators transform their campus.

For $50, you can provide that kit. For $1,000 or more, you can help us get that speaker to campus. (Please, let us choose who is in greatest need!) Amounts in between add up to support our work for women and children. $100, $350, $500 can make a big difference!

(You may also support the strategic efforts of Feminists for Life through the Combined Federal Campaign or other workplace campaigns. See below.)

Students are hungry for our kits, but pro-life student group budgets have been slashed – and many students are drowning in debt as they make their way through college. They have the time. They have the drive. They possess great courage. They just need our help – and that means we need yours.

Because women deserve better,

Serrin M. Foster
President

I am counting on people like you because they are counting on us. We hope to see you at one of our open events. Thank you for making the crucial difference.
