The Roe v. Wade decision, 34 years ago this month, was hailed by some as a victory for women. We are still hearing that lie today. But more and more people recognize the truth.

Abortion is no victory. Women at risk of abortion know this. And women who have experienced abortion, they know the truth at a gut-wrenching level. Women deserve better.

We need you—our agent of change, as a grassroots activist—to proclaim Feminists for Life's message that Women Deserve Better^® than abortion.

There is no more critical message for those who have never known a day without legalized abortion. There is no more powerful message to proclaim to our representatives at the state, local and federal levels. You can help make sure FFL's message is heard and help us redirect the debate toward women-centered solutions.

Free downloadable Women Deserve Better^® labels and stickers. Use smaller ones to seal the back of your envelopes on your January correspondence. Wear larger ones on your lapel while lobbying on Capitol Hill, with your state lawmakers, and at community rallies. All you need is a printer and blank labels.
Free downloadable Women Deserve Better^® ads to distribute as flyers at events or post on community/campus bulletin boards (be sure to observe local ordinances and campus guidelines). Also, consider sponsoring an ad in a campus or local paper.
A sample letter to the editor to bring the Women Deserve Better^® message to your local newspaper.
A 700-word opinion piece to distribute to your local media. (Editor's who need this in a different file format may contact us at Media@feministsforlife.org.)

You can also click here to see our ever-popular Covetable Stuff^® merchandise. Proclaim the message by wearing your Women Deserve Better^® black V-neck, using our new FFL key chain or placing our Women Deserve Better^® bumper sticker to put on your car. (Did you know advertisers estimate this simple act is worth hundreds of dollars in advertising during a campaign?) Or stick it on your bulletin board or refrigerator. Give it to a student, friend or relative. Place it at a community center, church hall or pregnancy resource center.

Of course, we urgently need sponsors to help FFL get the word out on campus, with placards, posters, and much, much more—especially at upcoming student activist conferences.

You and I know that the messenger matters. Women listen to us because Feminists for Life, people like you and me, have a long track record of demonstrating our support for women.

I can't be everywhere to share our message, but with your help, and through you, Feminists for Life can be there for those we serve.

Be our herald. Proclaim the truth. Women deserve better^® than abortion. Now that is a message of victory—and hope.
